Frequently Asked Questions - Recco Sports Golf Tour

1.  What golf courses will we be playing? ANSWER - We will release the list two weeks prior to the season starting.  Most of the golf courses will be in Monmouth County with a couple in Middlesex, Somerset or Ocean County.

2.  Can I play with my friends?  ANSWER - Yes.  You can play with whoever you like.  This league offers the flexibility to get your round in, on YOUR schedule.  After sampling the idea to numerous people, almost everyone replied with one major concern....And that was having trouble making an afternoon tee time that didn't fit with their work schedule, kids youth sports schedules, school schedules etc....

3.  Does everyone compete in the "Majors"?  ANSWER - Yes.  Everyone that joins the league is eligible for all four Majors.  However, to be considered for the "season-long" RS Cup champion, you must play all four Majors and at least 8 of the other 16 weeks.  We will be taking your best 10 net scores to determine the Cup champion but of those 10, 4 MUST include your results at the Majors.   The player with the lowest net number for their best 10 rounds will be crowned RS Cup champion.

4.  Can anyone play?  ANSWER - The short answer is yes.  But to be eligible to win any of the championships you must have either a USGA handicap or a provable handicap using one of several apps available in the app store or google play store on your phone.

5.  How many levels are there?  ANSWER - There will be two flights.  The A flight will be for players with a handicap of 0 to 14.9.  The B flight will consist of players with a handicap of 15 and higher.  Net scores will be the scores of record.

6.  How do we make the tee times and report the scores?  ANSWER - Once you sign-up we will send you all the information.  But essentially, when you make your tee time you will need to email it to us.  We will then post it on the website.  Upon completion of your round you need to email us the score the same day, so we can update the results.  There are no do-overs.  If you play a bad round, you play a bad round.

7.  Can I ride or do I have to walk?  ANSWER - If you want to spend the extra money for a cart feel free.  We have no issue with you riding or walking.

8.  What is the best way to contact you?  ANSWER - Email us: ReccoSportsLLC@gmail.com
